The battle between Gauna and the human race heads to the West. ‘Sidonia no Kishi: Ai Tsumugu Hoshi’ hits theaters in the United States and Canada on September 13.
Under the title of ‘Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars’, the film that takes us ten years into the future of the events of the original series, will be with us sooner than usual by the hand of Funimation.
The violet service will show us the end of this saga, for a limited time, with original audio and English subtitles or with their respective dubbing.
In addition to the premiere of the film, Funimation will offer from August 3 the two seasons of the series ‘Sidonia no Kishi’ for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland.

After Earth was destroyed by mysterious alien life forms known as Gauna, the surviving remnants of the human race escaped into space on the massive Sidonia generation ship. Having drifted through space for millennia, the Sidonia once again found itself under attack by Gauna for the first time in a century.
Once again, faced with the threat of extinction, a temporary victory was achieved against the Gauna, thanks to the human-Gauna hybrid Tsumugi Shiraui and Guardian Nagate Tanikaze’s mechanical pilot.
Ten years later… The people of Sidonia are enjoying a brief respite. Quiet days pass, during which Tsumugi begins to realize her feelings for Nagate, who is now celebrated as a heroine of Sidonia. However, as Captain Kobayashi has always known, as long as the Gauna remain, peace cannot last.
