The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG becomes one of the company’s most complete smartwatches, add ECG and NFC to a connected watch that was already complete in itself. All this, with a battery life of 12 days in typical use.

Now with ECG
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG is at first glance very similar to the normal model, with one small detail: on one of its sides is what appears to be an additional button. It is not, it is el ECG sensor, the first in-house device to receive medical certification in China. Of course, Huawei warns that the ECG is not compatible with an iPhone.
The rest of the specifications of this smartwatch with a body of titanium alloy and ceramic dial and sapphire crystal they remain largely unchanged from the version without ECG, starting with the AMOLED display with 1.39 inches in diameter and a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels.
In addition to the EKG, its sensors can pick up your pulse continuously, monitor the saturation level of oxygen in the blood 24 hours a day, analyze your sleep and your stress level. Of course, it can also record all your workouts, supporting more than 100 kinds of activities.
Another section that has been improved in this ECG version is connectivity. Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG adds the NFC connectivity, it must therefore be compatible with payments using the clock in the regions and services supported.
The connected watch has speakers and microphone, includes the Kirin A1 home processor inside and has 4 GB of internal storage. Battery life with typical use extends up to 12 days, or 7 days with heavy use, according to Huawei’s own measurements. It is compatible with Android 6 or higher and iOS, although several functions are not available if you use it with an iPhone.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG has been officially announced in China and it remains to be seen whether it will eventually reach the rest of the markets. In China, its official price is 2,688 yuan, which is 350 dollars to change real.
