Marvel’s next live-action show to land on Disney Plus is ‘Hawkeye,’ so our attention is on Clint Barton’s solo series and Kate Bishop’s official introduction to the MCU.
‘Hawkeye’ will premiere on November 24, so it’s time to start enjoying first glimpses and promotional images of the meeting between Jaremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld.
The new photograph revealed by Entertainment Weekly shows Clint and Kate in a scene from the series that will introduce the character of Bishop, who is part of the Young Avengers. In his interview with EW, Renner talked about this new member of the MCU gang and assures that for Clint Barton, the arrival of Kate is nothing more than an avalanche of problems.
“[Kate es] a 22 year old girl and is a huge fan of Hawkeye. She has wonderfully annoying and equally charming manners, because she’s a Hawkeye fanatic. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the avalanche of problems she brings into his life. “
While we believe that the introduction of Kate Bishop has been a long time in coming, as well as a solo production of ‘Hawkeye’, finally Marvel is ready to show Clint and his “successor” in the same production. Above all, with the relationship that the Youngs Avengers have with the arrival of Kang, the Conqueror.
So far it is unknown if Marvel’s plans include making productions to present the rest of the gang of young people with powers and abilities, but we are satisfied with what we are about to receive.
Just as Clint forms Kate in the Marvel universe, Renner has been in charge of making Steinfeld feel “at home”, now that the ‘Dickinson’ actress will be an official part of the MCU.
“That was always my role. Aside from acting on the thing, he was protecting her and giving her CliffsNotes on how it goes with this kind of movie – green screen, superhero life, all of that. I just wanted to protect her, because there are so many physical things. She is a wonderful actress, a wonderful human, and I can’t wait to see all the cool things she’s capable of. “
Of course, we hope this series connects in some way with the post-credit scene of ‘Black Widow’, and of course, with ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, but we will find out about the connections in due course.
