Obviously, the Steam version of The Ascent is not the same as the PC version provided through Game Pass.

This is according to the player rise I noticed on the PC that the Game Pass version does not support Nvidia’s DLSS and ray tracing does not work.

However, it seems that Neon Giant is working on the case because it has stated that it is working to bring the two versions to the same level.

Tor Frick, the co-founder of the studio, said: “It is being studied, with the goal of fixing it/making it fully identical to Steam.” Twitter.

“We are working with our partners to resolve this issue as soon as possible. The build process of the two versions is different, not just the storefront exchange” (thanks to Eurogamer).
