Sam’s Story tells the story of U.S. Navy Sam, a Spartan Ranger who has been led by Colonel Miller since the destruction of Moscow and is now tracing Artyom’s footsteps and discovering the world outside the crushing tunnels of the Metro. Sam has been dreaming of being able to return to his homeland for a very long time and maybe find his father alive. In the dark tunnels, this prospect always seems slim, but when the Spartans find out that Moscow may not be the only city with survivors of the war, the smoldering hint of hope is no longer as foolish as before.
From the Aurora, Sam starts looking for a way back to the United States. On his journey, he reaches the remains of the tsunamis-ravaged port of Vladivostok, crosses destroyed industrial facilities and decaying residential areas. Sam has to find out for himself that he needs every tactic to survive his odyssey. In this additional sandbox survival level you will experience another gripping story with new characters, weapons and mutant variants in a huge, non-linear environment that offers numerous hours of immersive gameplay.
Sam’s Story will be available on February 11, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Stadia.
