But this is not all we are going to learn this week, because last night’s Annapurna Interactive Showcase also provided you with a first look at the actual operation of the game. Stray is a third-person cat action adventure game. You play as a stray cat looking for a way out of a cyberpunk city that seems to be inhabited only by humanoid robots.

In order to escape this place, the cat will solve the ancient mystery of the city. In addition to all the platforms and running around, the game walkthrough also showcases the wanderer’s companion drone, who will help it interact with the world in several different ways.

There is a bit of fighting, against spots that look like crab heads, but nothing more. Most of your time will be spent solving puzzles and devising clever solutions to eliminate obstacles along the way. Wanderers continue to look as amazing as ever, and this new shot truly shows the extraordinary animation being played.

Stray is being developed for PC, PS4 and PS5. You can now add it to your wish list on Steam.
