Last june Google open registrations for the annual event of the international version of Independent Games Festival 2021, and during these weeks the team of google play received thousands of developer requests for indie games who want to participate in this competition.
In this new opus from the Google Play Indie Games Festival 2021 wants to reward the best indie games from Europe, Japan and South Korea, and in this first step among the thousands of participants they have already selected the 60 independent games finalists of this year -20 games per region – that the nine winners will be known next September.
Like last year, the Google Play team will reward the most creative indie games To give them more visibility in the Android application store and thus boost your downloads. Google will select three games per region via three virtual events (one per region) next September 4. The events will be free and all you need to do is register to participate in the festival in Europe, Japan or South Korea.
Then we leave you with the list of the 20 finalists from each region, among which Sweet Sins Superstars, the only Spanish game to reach the final. It’s a fun music game created by the independent studio Platonic Games based in Madrid.
