In June 2020 we shared with you some amazing statistics about the French career of SEGA Game Gear. And we told you at the time that the source of this information, the French author Rgis Monterrin, was working on a fully dedicated SEGA book full of information of this kind. After more than a year of waiting, this book is finally about to be officially published.
Indeed, on August 12th, Omak Books will market Generation SEGA vol.1, the first volume of a book entirely devoted to the history of SEGA (and unofficially for more freedom). The 176-page book is the result of ten years of research and interviews with former employees of the Igel press company and covers the years 1934 to 1991.Standard games“in the early years of the mega drive.

And unlike other books about the history of SEGA that have been published over time, Generation SEGA vol.1 has the particularity of focusing on SEGA’s presence in France. Here, too, testimonies from actors of the time shed light on the way in which SEGA “be stronger than you

And since this is “Volume 1”, it should be noted that “Volume 2” is already finished and will soon be published by Omak Books.
