Since its creation, Apple has made the checkbook to sign the directors, producers and actors more attracted to the general public, although so far the greatest success has been achieved with Ted lasso, a series with a much lower budget than other big productions like The morning show, To see O For all mankind and no big stars.
One of the next projects that Apple TV + has shut down, according to the guys at Deadline, is a spy thriller called Argylle
The casting, already confirmed for this film is formed by Henry Cavill, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara and Dua Lipa. The latter will be in charge of the music and the soundtrack of the film.
As the film’s director Matthew Vaughn said:
I’m excited to team up with Apple and bring the most compelling spy thriller I’ve ever seen to the one streaming service that can create a franchise of this scale and quality for global audiences.

Leaving aside statements, which I think are quite presumptuous, the film is based on Ellie Conway’s eponymous spy novel, a novel to be published in 2022 and that “he follows the world’s best spy as he is embroiled in an adventure that travels the world.”
This is not Matthew Vaughn’s first collaboration with Apple, since he will direct the film Tretris: The Movie, starring Taron Edgerton. Regarding the release date of Argylle, at the moment it is unknown, but I dare to predict that until 2023, we can wait seated.
