Hi we are Alientrap Games and today we are here to share our next Wytchwood game with you! If you are a fan of fairy tales (of the Grimm genre), collect newt eyes to craft hexes and curse the daylight of shady baddies, then read on!
Have you made a deal with some suspicious black goats lately? Difficult to get out of some magic contracts? Nothing to worry about! In Wytchwood, you play as a rickety old witch caught in a dark pact she can’t remember making. You’ll travel through the lands and discover a rich narrative filled with a colorful cast of characters inspired by classic fables. A crying young girl awaits the return of her lost love, a brutal bear loves nothing more than banging heads together, and a feline trickster in an elegant pair of boots infest the local market with his deceptions. It is only with your magic and your quick wit that you can right these wrongs. Maybe with enough good deeds, that pesky goat hanging around your house will finally leave you alone!
Even with all of these unchecked ailments, Wytchwood is fundamentally a relaxing game where exploration and collecting spell ingredients play a big part in the experience. As the Evil Witch of the Swamp, you can put on your hat – or in this case – your trusty cauldron, and step out into the world to find out what the lush surroundings have in store for you. From sunny forest to dark swamp and snow-blown mountain top, each area contains its own unique creatures, plants, and monsters. If you’re quick enough, you might even catch this weird chicken-footed fish that runs along the docks!
What is a witch without her trusty spellbook? In Wytchwood, the making of potions and spells plays a key role in unraveling the mysteries of the world. Did that pumpkin just… move? Crafting a Snagvine spell will be sure to keep it still. This cat looks terribly hungry! Maybe it will give you something special if you can satiate his appetite with a treat. Sometimes a particularly tricky problem will require you to dig deep and do something with a little more oomph. Raising the dead takes more than a little elbow grease, after all.
Delivering world justice and punishing evildoers is no small feat, but with the right tools and the right attitude, you just might be the witch for the job!
