At the event that took place last night and which you can see below, the manufacturer showed off all of the products they’ve already prepared for a launch in the rest of the year, although it’s true that for its DDR5 RAM, they have warned that you will only see the light of day when Intel’s Alder Lake-S platform is the first to support this new generation of RAM.
ADATA XPG with DDR5 RAM up to 12.6 GHz
ADATA presented its new generation RAM memory modules, with frequencies of 8,400 MT / s (up to 163% more than DDR4), with an increase in performance that will allow the new generation of PCs to have performances never seen before. These RAMs will run at just 1.1V and have capacities of up to 64GB per kit.
On the other hand, and already within its XPG games division, ADATA also talked about its next generation of extreme performance DDR5 RAMs for Alder Lake-S, with a model which, as you can see in the capture screen above, will run at 12,600 MT / s but yes their voltage will go up to 1.6V and heat generation will skyrocket, so they will be fitted with fairly advanced heatsinks to prevent overheating. As we mentioned earlier, we won’t be seeing these RAMs, the fastest – theoretically – in the world so far, until Intel launches its Alder Lake platform at the end of the year or at the end of the year. early next year.
SSDs, power supplies and peripherals
At the ADATA XPG conference, the manufacturer surprised locals and foreigners with a list of products ready to be launched with force and covering many different market segments. Until now ADATA focused more on memory products, but now it will immerse itself in other market segments such as power supplies or gaming peripherals, where it already had a few products but without much success so far. now.
So soon we’ll see the new one DATA LEGEND with PCI-Express 4.0 interface and which promise read speeds of up to 7,400MB, adding to the list of manufacturers that have SSDs over 7,000MB / s, but they will also present other models such as the GAMMIX S70 Blade, S70 or S50 Lite, all with a PCI-Express 4.0 interface to adapt to recent developments in storage technology.
Another interesting product of those presented is its memory card ADATA Premier Extreme SDXC PCI Express, which will dramatically increase memory card performance by offering speeds of up to 800MB / s read and 700MB / s write, ideal for high definition and high performance video recording systems.
On the other hand, ADATA XPG also enters the power supply segment with its CYBERCORE XPG
ADATA XPG will even launch Ultrabooks
You could perhaps say that the manufacturer “puts on an eleven rod shirt”, but they also presented two laptops from their new family XENIA, one of them directly in collaboration with Intel. These are teams that obviously integrate 11th generation Intel processors and with quite interesting hardware, such as configurations of 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of NVMe SSD, but while the 14-inch model is an Ultrabook based on autonomy and portability, the really interesting is the 15-inch model designed with Intel, since this model is perfectly valid for gaming by integrating a dedicated graphics card RTX 3060 O RTX 3070 (the hardware configuration can be customized, of course).
As of yet, the manufacturer hasn’t said anything about the specific launch date or price, only that like everything else, they’ll be available in 2021, so we’ll have to wait.
