As in previous years, the opening night live kicks off the digital gamescom 2021. According to the trade fair organizers, over two million viewers followed the live stream last year. Also expect you again this year Lots of premieres and trailers for well-known games. As usual, Geoff Keighley, who is known as the host and producer of the Game Awards, will host the opening show.

When does it start?
let’s go on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 8 p.m.. As in previous years, we will broadcast the event for you on our Twitch-Kanal MAX and stay on the air afterwards to analyze what you have seen in detail.
Where can I watch the ONL?
The gamescom Opening Night Live 2021 will be broadcast live again on the Gamescom Twitch channel shown. Alternatively, you can also do the show our channel MAX pursue together with us.
Of course, you will also be able to follow the Opening Night Live on other platforms and channels. Well-known influencers such as Gronkh, Trymacs and Papaplatte will also broadcast the event.
What is the program for the Opening Night Live?
At the moment there is no exact information about which games we can expect at the Opening Night Live. It is clear that it will be a mix of world premieres and updates to well-known titles. Probably one or the other developer personality will also step in front of the camera to announce something or to talk about a special topic.
Another element of the show will be the presentation of the gamescom awards being. The application phase for the coveted trophies recently ended. The winners will be announced on August 25, 2021. Some of the awards will then be presented during the Opening Night Live.
