We bring interesting statements from Katsuhiro Harada, director of Tekken. Apparently he has recently shown an interest in Masahiro Sakurai, director of Super Smash Bros., visit his Bar.
This bar is actually a talk show known as Harada’s Bar in Youtube. When asked which people he would like to interview on the show, Sakurai was one of his first choices. However, he adds that he sees it very complicated.
These have been his words:
Having Sakurai-san here would be the best due to the announcement of [Kazuya]. But basically, he doesn’t appear in shows like this. It is not normal. Basically he only appears in official things … at least I can ask him.
In this regard, Sakurai-san has many contacts. Because he creates things with those contacts. Do [Smash Bros.] it must be really difficult. I got involved and it felt like that. It is a collection of… rights holders, it has many rights not only for Nintendo but also for many companies in the video game industry. It must be hard. He’s in the middle of all of this, so it must be difficult for him.
I can easily invite him if it is something private. He even came to my wedding … If it’s Sakurai-san, we would have to call Bandai Namco Studios, call my own workplace … [risas]. They would be confused as to why I call them [risas]… I’ll ask you.

Harada has also mentioned that he would like to interview Yoshinori Ono from Capcom, responsible for Street Fighter. However, he also points out that he sees it complicated because Ono is now the president of the mobile games company DelightWorks:
I have asked him several times. At first he said: Sure, I can go. I will go. But once he became president of the company [DelightWorks]I already told him: “If you come now, it would be a lot of trouble, right?”
