While we are busy working on the new Sonic The Hedgehog 2, a new cast has now been announced and it is a well-known and popular actor.
Not that much is known about the second Sonic movie yet, except that Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is expected to hit theaters on April 8, 2022. Thanks to Twitter, we now at least know that a well-known actor should take over the role of Knuckles, namely Idris Elba.

As an extremely hardworking actor, Idris Elba has long since worked his way into the hearts of fans. He has been involved in countless films and series as an actor. He became known, among other things, as Heimdall in the Thor films, as Luther in the series of the same name or through his leading role in Mandela – The Long Road to Freedom. He can currently be seen as Bloodsport in the latest Suicide Squad film.
Jeff Fowler takes over the direction of the film again. Ben Schwarts speaks again the role of Sonic, further speaking roles are taken over by James Marsden, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter and Adam Pally.
Paramount Pictures has shown the redesigned lead character in Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time.
