The fifth beta of Monterey is now available for developers. A version that happens in the usual 15 day cycle between versions and that complements the arrival of the third beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, tvOS 15 and watchOS 8. An update focused on polishing the details for the official launch in the fall.
Monterey, closer to every beta
After the release of the fifth beta of iOS, iPadOS and tvOS 15 and watchOS 8, Apple released the fifth beta of macOS Monterey. In the case of a fourth beta, more than news, we hope that it will be fix some small bugs typical of the development of an operating system.
The truth is that Monterey is the beta of a more stable operating system that I tested, still in its first version. It is clear that Apple has done its homework and improved its internal processes to ensure that the software, even in a development version, performs really well. Something that, all told, is surprising given the amount of news the operating system receives.
If we want to enter the beta cycle, we can do so by following these steps or creating a system bootable installer, but it should be borne in mind that we are talking about development versions containing bugs.
Already in the beta cycle we will find the update in the app Settings as an OTA update. During the first few hours, Apple’s servers may receive more demand than usual, so the wait time may be extended.
