Rocket League is getting a PS5 update, which should please game owners.
Starting on August 18th, PlayStation 5 users will be able to play Rocket League At 120 Hz.

This is achieved through a new video quality setting added to the “Video Settings” menu. Here, you will be able to choose between quality or performance mode.
Using the quality mode, you can enjoy the game with 4K resolution and HDR at 60 FPS. If you use a 1080p monitor, the game will be rendered at 4K supersampled 1080p.
In performance mode, the game runs at a resolution of 2688×1512 (70% of full 4K) at 120 FPS and HDR, and the game UI runs at 4K. If you use a 1080p monitor, the game will be rendered at 2688×1512 supersampled 1080p.
Not only will the game get new settings, but as part of the current live broadcast season 4, you can expand your garage with new starter packs and standard packs.

This bundle includes Ratchet & Clank Punk decals for octane, Negatron Collider Boost, Clank Balloon Topper, and Ratchet Balloon Topper.
It will be available to all PlayStation users until January 3, 2022.
