In the trailer that accompanies this note we can see the improvements at the level of graphics and character models in GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. We are happy to see that they did not choose to recreate them in an ultra-realistic style, but instead maintain something of the cartoonish tone so representative of the PS2 era.
But these are not the only improvements that these titles will have. Rockstar Games confirmed that they will have updated control systems and changes to the minimap to make navigation easier. They will also include Achievements / Trophies and will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch gyroscope and touch screen for aiming and controlling menus.
Another interesting detail they revealed is that these games were recreated on the Unreal engine by Grove Street Games studio. They are responsible for adapting other Rockstar Games games to mobile platforms.
