Apex Legends players have discovered an interesting trailer in the game that could point to a new map. On the Olympus capsule, you can now see a screen showing a tropical location. The location appears to be a sandy beach, with palm trees and plants visible. It’s unclear if this is a map planned for next season, or a tease for something else, but the sudden presence of the screen has led to a lot of speculation from fans of the game! Developer Respawn Entertainment has been mum about the discovery so far, so it’s impossible to say for sure.

While that would appear to be pretty solid evidence on its own, additional information appears to have leaked as well. Apex Legends YouTuber Thordan Smash has shared a video featuring what appears to be an aerial shot of the map, showing a lot of what fans can expect when it drops. It’s worth noting that Thordan Smash has a huge following on YouTube and on social media, but that doesn’t mean this should be taken as hard evidence.

However, when combined with the Olympus pod video, it seems like a very safe bet that Apex Legends players will visit warmer weather at some point in the near future.
Hopefully, Respawn won’t make fans expect much longer! If the tropical island is really the next map in the game, it could be an interesting new location. Thordan Smash’s video indicates that this would be slightly smaller than other maps in Apex Legends. That could be quite interesting, but fans will just have to wait and see how things unfold!
