The Archives – Tome 9: Crescendo
Our latest tome doesn’t just contain three new terrifying stories from the world of Dead by daylight, but for the first time ever, two of these stories overlap and present two very different perspectives on a single terrifying event.
Inspired by fan-favorite K-pop legends The Trickster and Yun-Jin Lee from the All-Kill chapter, with each character’s POV we’re treated to an unexpected kidnapping on the eve of a violent storm that tests their relationship represents.
Players can also jump into the Cresendo Rift for free and earn unique, fan-inspired outfits for The Plague and Élodie Rakoto. If you brought your king-size pillowcase with you this year, you can claim over 60 cosmetic items worth over 20,000 Auric Cells in the premium track.

Chapter “The Hour of the Witch”
The perfect survivor for the season just landed in the fog as part of the Hour of the Witch chapter that is now available.
Mikaela Reid not only loves Halloween, she also loves horror stories. She reads them, she writes them, and over time has even developed a keen interest in witchcraft. In addition to their unique looks and personality, their perks are also unique. Mikaela is the first survivor with the ability to harness the power of the totems to provide healing and protection for herself and her allies, and instantly make them an invaluable part of any team.
Not all witches are evil, and this one is ready to do great things in the entity’s realm.
The Midnight Grove Halloween Event
Dead by daylight brings the spooky vibe 365 days a year, but Halloween is our chance to take it to the next level. Starting today and running until November 4thNS, players can take part in the in-game event, The Midnight Grove – which includes a brand new limited-time event book available through the archives.
The event equips our cards with Halloween decorations, special items and new this year: interactive jack-o-lanterns galore. Smash these scary pumpkins to complete challenges and roll the dice for an instant trick or treating.
For the (very short) duration of the event, players can also earn special outfits for our new survivors Mikaela Reid and The Doctor, as well as three new charms – all exclusive to Midnight Grove. Completing challenges will also unlock a number of scary stories written by Mikaela herself.
