Amid all the horrors and horrors of Fortnitemares, a terrible surprise has struck the island Fourteen days: the arrival of the dice queen!
The full scope of their vision for cubic dominance is not yet known, but we will do our best to prepare you for what you are in for Wrath of the dice queen!
New powers rolled have arrived
They are already experts in dealing with dice monsters, but a new, even more powerful type has arrived in the form of the Queen. These dice are called caretakers. They are large, ghost-like creatures that you drag in The Sideways and fight against you in a challenging showdown. The caretakers are the strongest warriors, but there will be a nice reward for ending a fight with one of them.
There’s a new reason to venture through The Sideways now; a sideways weapon has made its way into the fray – the sideways scythe. More evil weapons have returned to the island; Try to get your hands on the witch brooms and the pumpkin rocket launcher.
Hope you have a sweet tooth because Candy will be back too – this time with the new Zero Point pretzel in the mix.
Horde Rush returns
The Cubes are trying to get out of The Sideways and into our realm! The only way to prevent this from happening is through Horde Rush! Right, the Horde Rush LTM is back! Fight monsters alongside your teammates and earn more points by finding multipliers, making combos and eliminating as many monsters as possible. Survive in locations on the map and defeat the final boss for a hard-earned victory.
The Horde Rush LTM will be live for the remainder of Fortnitemares (through November 1 at 10 a.m. ET). The return of Horde Rush will also see the arrival of Horde Rush Quest. Upon completing the quest, you will receive these special rewards: the Thinking Juice Backbling, the Cube Queen Banner, and the Cuddle Scream Leader Spray.
Make sure you practice a lot in Horde Rush because there will be a Horde Rush tournament where you can win cosmetics! Please see the Competition tab for more details.
Ariana Grande returns and new quests arise
The Horde Rush quests aren’t the only ones in The Wrath of the Cube Queen! From now on Hallowhead presents you the Fortnitemares Punchcard. Here are all of the quests now available, as well as the rewards for completing them.
- Complete the Fortnitemares general quest to unlock the Raven Curse Spray, Midnight Showdown Loading Screen, and Wrathful Breakout Contrail.
- Ariana Grande has returned to the island but now in new gear, ready to defeat monsters. The spaceman Ariana Grande, the greatest monster hunter in the galaxy, invites you to her hunt. Complete their monster hunter quest line to unlock the new all-weather extractor pickaxe (dark style)! There is also a special bonus for Fortnite crew members. Completing the Monster Hunting questline grants crew members the British-style all-weather extractor pickaxe along with its variant.
- Help Dark Jonesy find a powerful artifact that can restore his vision in the Oracle quest line. Completing the Oracle questline will unlock the Cube Cruiser Glider, an unfolded cube that you can fly on!
Hallowhead’s Punchard won’t be the only punchard to go live at 9 a.m. ET, however …
Use Seismographs with Ghostbusters Punchard from Containment Specialist, destroy mini-pufts and more to unlock the No Ghost Back Bling – inspired by the upcoming film “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”!
Complete these exciting quests and get your rewards while you can as they will be available until November 1st!
The wrath of the dice queen changed the island, but there is certainly much to be gained from this cubic chaos. Get on the island now and experience the anger for yourself!
