Wouldn’t you be up for a remake of Fallout: New Vegas too? If so, you are definitely not the only ones. Parallel to the mod project Fallout 4: New Vegas
, a new group is now tackling the revival of the legendary role-playing game.
And the Mod Project Mojave
(obviously) in a very similar notch. This is how the makers behind the project plan, Recreate the game world of Fallout: New Vegas in Fallout 4 – and are making impressive progress.
What Project Mojave currently offers
Already now – four months after the start of development – a quarter of the map can already be explored. The current star of the mod is the New Vegas Strip, where you can visit three different casinos. However, there are currently no quests that unfortunately may not even be planned. But it is always enough to revive a little old memories.
It’s all there: On the other hand, Project Mojave impresses with an enormous level of detail, which is the result of elaborate small-scale work. According to the developers of Project Mojave, the mod currently includes the following content:
- 800+ assets built from scratch
- a quarter of the map (New Vegas Strip, Nipton and much of the southern Mojave Desert) including three functioning casinos
- three new houses for players and three new workshops
- ten specially created creatures, three of which are completely new
- over 20 new weapons and 13 unique weapons
- over 50 new items of clothing
You can get a concrete impression of Project Mojave in the official trailer of the mod developers:

Download and install Project Mojave
The New Vegas mod for Fallout 4 you can Download on NexusMods for free. The project is currently still in Early Access – so the mod is far from finished and is currently in active development.
You just have to download Project Mojave and install it using the game’s internal mod tool. However, this can lead to problems with the game’s audio files, for which developer TheFriedturkey already has a YouTube tutorial has provided.
This is how you get into the game world of New Vegas: In order to reach the Mojave Desert in Fallout 4, you have to find the body of a scientist in the south of Breakheart Banks. A quest will then be triggered there that will lead you into the game world of New Vegas.
