Thanks to Sabre Interactive, iLLOGIKA and EP1T0ME, A Quiet Place has its own game.
Currently in development, the game is a story-driven horror adventure game based on the movie franchise of Paramount Pictures.
The game will use original stories and gameplay to capture the well-known “suspense, emotion and drama” of the series.
iLLOGIKA is a game studio. The Montreal-based studio is composed of Rainbow Six and Far Cry series developers. It is published by Sabre Interactive, responsible for World War Z and the upcoming Evil Dead: The Game.
“The amazing success of the Silent Place movie clearly shows that the audience is eager to take more adventures in this universe, and iLLOGIKA is creating their own truly engaging experience that lives up to the name of this beloved property,” said Todd, Sabre Interactive’s publishing director Hollenshead added
“We are proud to say that “A Quiet Place” is the first game we will release through the external studio of the ever-evolving Sabre publishing brand.”
If you are not familiar with this movie, the first movie “A Quiet Place” was released in 2018, directed by office alumnus John Krasinski, who also starred with his wife Emily Blunt.
The story revolves around a pair of mothers and fathers trying to survive and raise their children in a post-apocalyptic world where predatory blind aliens live, and they can basically hear the sound of needle dropping.
The film was so popular that it earned $350 million in box office revenue with a budget of $17 million and gave birth to the sequel “A Quiet Place 2”. It was originally scheduled to be released in 2020, but it was postponed due to COVID-19, and it was finally released in May of this year.
The game is scheduled to be released in 2022. The platform and more information will be provided later.
