Starting this summer, users who upgrade their iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy can move their chats from iOS to Android, a feature that is now starting to spread to more devices.
Google announced that WhatsApp Chat Transfer from iPhone to Android, after its premiere in the Samsung galaxy, now reaches all mobiles Pixels
Transfer your WhatsApp chats from iOS to Android
Google has worked hand in hand with the WhatsApp team to bring this requested functionality to its own Pixels and to mobiles that come from the factory with Android 12. The transfer process will be carried out through Google’s Data Transfer Tool application.
The transfer process will be very simple. During the Android setup wizard, when the mobile asks us if we want to transfer data from an iPhone, we will have to connect both devices with a USB-C to Lightning cable, and when our Android asks us to, scan the QR code with the iPhone to open WhatsApp and move all your conversations, media and more to your new device.
Transfer WhatsApp chats from iOS to Android will copy all conversations, photos, videos, audios, voicemail messages and files to the new device. Google and WhatsApp guarantee that data will remain protected throughout the process transfer so that no one else can access your WhatsApp information and files.
