Crusader Kings III: Expansion Delayed

Crusader, delayed, Expansion, III, Kings

While “cringe” is the youth word of the year, “shift” is likely to be the game word of the year. Countless titles have already slipped into the next year and expansions are not immune from this.

Now Crusader Kings III has also been hit. Royal Court, a full-fledged expansion of the game, did not yet have a specific date, but pre-order options on Steam suggested a very imminent release. That will apparently not happen again this year, according to an announcement on the Paradox forum.

Accordingly, the developers are currently not happy with the stability of the extension, and there are apparently a number of bugs that need to be fixed, which requires more time than originally planned. Royal Court will therefore not appear until 2022, a specific date will be announced soon.

Crusader Kings III is to receive some new features through Royal Court, including a 3D throne room in which you can hold court, an expanded cultural system that also takes different languages into account, as well as ethics and traditions and much more.
