Raymond
A young man from the non-federated planet of Verguld. He is the captain of the merchant vessel Ydas of Lawrence Logistics, a company run by his family. His self-confidence often sees him recklessly rushing into situations regarding his friends and work, much to the dismay of the Ydas crew. Raymond has a big heart, an affable nature and good business sense. His lack of affiliation with the Pangalactic Federation means that he is not bound by the Pact to Preserve the Underdeveloped Planet. This sincere openness to meeting others where they are, regardless of technological advances seduces Laeticia, but leaves Albaird wary.
Laeticia
Princess of the realm of Aucerius: a vast territory located on the underdeveloped planet of Aster IV. His radiant and resolute personality is admired throughout the kingdom, but his primitive demeanor betrays his penchant for wearing armor and his remarkable skill with dual blades. In order to remedy the invading threat from a neighboring country, Laeticia sets out on a secret journey to locate a certain individual. She meets Raymond on the way, recently stranded on Aster IV. The two agree to help each other and begin to travel together.
Helen
A crew member of the merchant ship Ydas and Raymond’s second. She manages the operation of almost the entire ship, and her vast knowledge and cold demeanor have earned her the complete trust of Raymond and the crew. Elena is constantly surprised by Raymond’s propensity for recklessness, but she still thinks highly of his leadership qualities.
Albaird
Childhood friend of Laeticia, he now serves her as a knight of the kingdom of Aucerius. He excels in semiomancy and the handling of the chakram. His keen sense of loyalty to Laeticia means he’s never far from her. Albaird’s left arm is covered to the tips of his fingers, and he sometimes gestures as if to protect it. He does not trust Raymond when he meets him while escorting Laeticia on his secret journey. Hates going against his wishes, however, he reluctantly allows Raymond to join them.

The fate of the universe awakens when two heroes cross paths
The Pangalactic Federation. From their earliest days in the Sol System, this organization has sought to bring peace and tranquility to the galactic multitudes. As their reach expanded across the universe, many heroes served under their banner; saviors to planets in need.
But in the year 583 SD, things changed. The once peaceful Pangalactic Federation is now known to assimilate planets against their will. Once standing for righteousness, they are now shrouded in darkness.
Raymond, captain of the merchant ship Ydas, leaves the non-federated planet of Verguld for a standard transport mission. The job is simple, the road familiar, but things turn sour when the Ydas is attacked by the Astoria: a battleship carrying a member of the preeminent Kenny family of the Pangalactic Federation.
Raymond and his teammate Chloe are forced to abandon ship amid the chaos and head to the remote and underdeveloped planet of Aster IV. Before their rescue pods can even land, an explosion of EMP-like energy from the planet’s surface knocks out their systems and causes them to collapse. They find themselves separated and stranded on an unknown planet.
Upon landing, Raymond is immediately attacked by some of the unfriendly local wildlife. But while all seems lost, his life is saved by the crown princess of the kingdom of Aucerius: Laeticia. Amazed by the sudden appearance of this man who entered her life on a “shooting star”, Laeticia asks Raymond to help her save her kingdom from the threat of the neighboring Vey’l Empire. He accepts in exchange for his help in finding Chloe.
Thus begins their journey on Aster IV. However, Raymond will soon discover that he has not yet escaped the shadow of the Pangalactic Federation.
– Where are you from, Ray?
“I come from another world, from a world that is far, far away in the sky.”
This encounter, and the ensuing stand against Crushing Power, marks a new chapter in galactic history.
