Zack Snyder recently gave an interview with Inverseto talk about his new project for Netflix

. This is Army of Thieves, a prequel spin-off from Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead. This new work will be produced by Snyder, but directed by the main character’s actor Matthias Schweighöfer. He therefore starts a divided universe since the saga of “Army of“Will count at least Army of the Dead, Army of Thieves and the sequel to Army of the Dead, which will be called Planet of the Dead. With this new universe, the journalist from Reverse asked the question of what the risks of Shatter fans’ dreams of Snyder’s work in the DC Universe :

– At this point, do you think the Snyderverse, the DC movies, or this “army” universe that you are developing?

– I want everything Snyderversian is to be something that we create as the original IP. The DC Universe is particularly close to my heart and I’ve spent a lot of time developing and thinking about it, so I love it. But right now I’m on Rebel Moon and Army of the Dead

. They really monopolize our creative production. We hope so what we produce that is original and cool falls into this category.

In other words, the Star Wars-like ones Rebel moon and the universe Army of the Dead, like the original licenses, are clearly the projects Zack Snyder is focused on, but also what he will call him Snydervers.
