The Mac is growing strongly thanks to the switch to Apple Silicon, which takes the line at its best.
The past year has been very difficult for Apple, especially when it comes to its line of computers. The Mac started in 2020 a new transition to Apple Silicon chips, a milestone that has now won great reviews on new devices and has been reinforced with the new MacBook Pro and iMac this year.
The results published a few hours ago by Apple only corroborate the Mac is at its best. For the third quarter of this year, they report that the company’s IT line and services division have managed to break their quarterly revenue records. All of this in a global context that continues to be really complicated.
All product lines have been affected by component supply issues, making it difficult for the company to meet customer demand. Fortunately, the effects are not as noticeable in the case of Apple, which allowed them to achieve revenue of $ 83.4 billion, resulting in total profits of $ 20.6 billion.
Regarding the weight of each division in these results, The iPhone remains the main source of income with 46.6% of the total. Behind, the growing services division with 21.9%, the Mac with 11%, the Wearables / Home / Accessories division with 10.5% and the iPad with 9.9%. The growth of services is interesting, which could be affected by future changes that may occur in the App Store business.
All data relating to the presentation and quarterly results details are available on the Apple website.
