Game news Marvel is partnering with a strong ally to create an AAA storytelling game
The video game future will be made up of a multitude of Marvel-influenced projects, there’s no denying it, you just have to watch the next hits that await us, like Marvel’s Midnight Sun, Marvel’s Spider-Man, or even Marvel’s Wolverine to be convinced. However, Firaxis and Insomniac Games have to share the poster with a new candidate!
The new challenger at the court of the Marvel adaptations? Skydance new media. At first glance, the name of this studio might not sound like it does, but it does Still, it’s made up of industry veterans from Electronic Arts, including award-winning screenwriter and director Amy Hennig, who heads the interactive division of Skydance Media.
Amy Hennig, whose script paw in productions like. was observed Blood omen, Franchise Inheritance from Cain or the first two opus byUnexplored, can be proud to have won a hefty partnership for the studio’s very first AAA game. The ambitions behind this project are crazy and up to the big budget, because Skydance New Media just wants to develop a new category of interactive entertainment that is deliberately storytelling and is at the intersection of television, cinema and of course video games. Amy Hennig entrusted the establishment of the partnership with the most recent formalization:

On the one hand, Skydance has a team of experienced developers who benefit from itsolid experience in the video game industry and appeals in parallel a team of emeritus consultants from the world of cinema, television and comics.
