Assassin’s Creed Unlimited – An evolving online platform with multiple historical backgrounds – by Ubisoft Back in July-it will not be a free game, although its goal is to become a real-time service title.
In Ubisoft’s second quarter earnings conference call (via VGC), it was revealed that the long-running series of experimental works will be paid games after all.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said on the phone: “It will not be a free game, and this game will contain a lot of narrative elements.” “This will be a very innovative game, but it will have players All the things they already have in Assassin’s Creed games, and all the elements they like to incorporate into it from the beginning.
The game is still in the early stages of development and is led by Jonathan Dumont and Clint Hocking, who received dual creative director honors at Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec, respectively. Guillemot also pointed out that this will be a large-scale game that will incorporate countless features of past Ubisoft games.
The game will obviously be an online experience that will continue to evolve, and over time, the world expands and changes in a way that seems to be inspired by things like Fortnite and GTA Online.
In addition to acknowledging the existence of the game and pointing out that it will not be a free game and giving us some understanding of its development team, Ubisoft refuses to comment on the game at all.
However, we are almost certain that it will be launched after March 2023; in the same earnings call, we heard that the remake of The Division Heartland and “Prince of Persia” may be postponed to early 2023. Since infinite was not mentioned in that part of the briefing, it is safe to say that Ubisoft plans to launch this new game later.
Ubisoft also announced on its earnings conference call that it is seeking to get involved in blockchain-related video game technology.
