This was announced by the own SEGA through a press release. Guardians of the Night -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Chronicles of Hinokami is the first video game in the hit animated series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The title was officially premiered on October 15, 2021 for Xbox one, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam and has already exceeded one million units distributed worldwide.
Guardians of the Night -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Chronicles of Hinokami it’s a spectacular arena fighter developped by CyberConnect2 and distributed by Koch Media in Europe. It is based on the original animated television series Kimetsu no Yaiba which started airing in April 2019. Aniplex produces and distributes the Japanese domestic version. For its part, SEGA has published the game in the United States, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, these regional versions also being produced by Aniplex. Players around the world have received the title with open arms, especially for their beautiful graphics and spectacular combat.
SEGA previously announced that there will be a series of 3 content updates after the game launches. The first of these is scheduled for late October and early November and will include the addition of two playable demonic characters, Rui, lower rank 5, and Akada, upper rank 3.
