The economy has changed a lot in recent decades, with the digitization of many sectors, a change that is making money in ways that were unthinkable before. We’ve even seen apps like Google Rewards, which pays us for taking surveys, although that money is only valid for the Google Play Store.
Google is one of the most knowledgeable companies in this regard, and a good example is the app Task companion
Money for tasks inside and outside the house
This app maintains the essence of payment for small actions but does so in a more general way. While there are surveys that we can complete, there are also specific tasks that appear as goals that we can accomplish.
When we do, they enter review mode and once it is verified that they have been executed, we receive the previously marked amount, which is added to our account in the app.
Tasks don’t just come from Google
The biggest difference with Google Rewards is that these tasks can be created by companies, which offer a reward to the user who performs them. An example might be filling out a survey, but also taking a photo of a specific location, reading a record sentence, or others.
In the profile that each user has in the app, we can see the completed responses, pending review tasks, etc.
We don’t know if Google is going to bring this app out of beta, where it is currently, and if it will take it to countries other than India.
