The 1990s and early 2000s produced immortal classics. Diablo, Civilization 2, Homeworld, Gothic, Ultima 7, Jedi Knight, Age of Empires 2, Command & Conquer, System Shock 2 – Michael Graf could go on and on with this list, and the name “Homeworld” would probably appear a few more times, simply on principle.
From our immeasurable treasure trove of data as well as conversations at trade fairs or in trams, we know: A large part of the GameStar community – which tends to be a bit older anyway – feels the same way: You grew up with these games and have taken them to your hearts.
But what if you are too young to have seen these classics “live”? Is it even possible to work at GameStar there?

But of course! Elena Schulz and Natalie Schermann were born in the nineties, when games like Ultima Underworld or Doom had long since appeared.
In the podcast they tell an audibly aged Micha which games they grew up with. Project Zero, a survival horror game for the PlayStation 2 or Pokémon, plays a strange role. Or The Sims.
