Release: When will Battlefield 2042 be released?
- Date: 19. November 2021
- Time: 9 o’clock in the morning according to Europe time
Early Access: When does early access start?
Anyone who buys the Gold or Ultimate Edition of Battlefield 2042 or is a subscription customer can get started a week earlier. The exact dates for this are:
- Date: From November 12, 2021
- Time: from 9 a.m. according to Europe time
What applies to subscription customers? Earned EA Play and Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate members Early access to the beta and a 10-hour trial version of Battlefield 2042 starting November 12th. An upgrade is possible with the more expensive EA Play Pro: You will then receive the Ultimate Edition of the game and all associated rewards, including early access to the open beta and access to the full version from November 12th.
Preload: When can I start the download?
If you pre-order Battlefield 2042, you can download the game in advance. This means that pre-orderers can get started on time for the release or at the start of the early access phase. The exact dates for this fall on the following date:

What about the Battlefield 2042 beta?
Before the final release of Battlefield 2042 there is still a beta phase. With the postponement of the publication date, the dates will probably also change here.
It’s not official yet, but according to the usually very knowledgeable insider Tom Henderson, the Battlefield Beta starts now on 6. (Early Access) or on October 8, 2021 (Open Beta).
