Back in September, you might recall Capcom announced it would be doing a Monster Hunter Rise collaboration with Sega to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Capcom has now issued a reminder via social media, informing hunters far and wide that this crossover event will definitely be taking place at some point later this month.

As highlighted by Siliconera, this won’t actually be the first time Sonic has teamed up with the Monster Hunter series. During the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate generation, players were able to craft Sonic-themed gear and outfits for their Palico.
This will however be the first “non-Capcom” collab to arrive in the latest Monster Hunter release. More recently we got a Ghosts n’ Goblins collab, and previously we’ve seen other Capcom characters from Street Fighter, Okami and Mega Man series.
Will you be revisiting Monster Hunter Rise when this new Sonic collab is revealed? What other crossovers would you like to see? Leave a comment below.
