Forza Horizon, the hugely popular Xbox series, will benefit freedom-loving gamers this Tuesday, November 9th. But, happy about Early Access, it already has a few laps ahead.
Forza Horizon 5 surpassed a million players in less than 48 hours. So the success is there. And the number discovered thanks to the leaderboards is all the stronger now that the playground racing game will not officially be released on Xbox and PC until this Tuesday, November 9, 2021. If it’s actually playable since Friday November 5th, it’s in Early Access.
Thanks to whom what?
And for all those who would see the simple work of the Xbox Game Pass there to obscure the reality of the sales, it should be added that this Early Access was not available to the first subscriber. To go ahead in the middle of the Mexican countryside, you had to have your hand in your pocket. Or by pre-ordering the Premium Edition for 99.99 dollars. Either while you subscribed to the Game Pass, cracked for the premium expansions of Forza Horizon 5 (44.99 dollars). From there we can say that by reading these lines it has already grossed between 45 and 100 million dollars. Which shows the popularity and expectation around this license even before it arrives in stores and on Xbox Game Pass Day One.
As a reminder, Forza Horizon 4, released in 2018, hit 2 million players in one week. We learned in November 2020 that it exceeded 24 million. Who knows how far his successor will go, for whom you can always read our TEST if you want to know more.
