A floating button for quick Google searches

This news comes from 9to5Google who took their time investigating the APK of Google app version 12.44 and thus find a floating button to access quick searches.

This floating button can be placed in on either side of the screen and it has the ability to change shape to turn into a pill when we slide it.

As you can see in the pictures we provide, this floating button consists of a for text search and one for voice. The latter is responsible for offering an experience outside of the Google Assistant so that it is even able to receive musical searches.

But perhaps the most important thing about this floating button is its possibility to coexist in other applications outside the office or the mobile home. That is, it can float while you are with WhatsApp or some other app itself.

Regarding its ease of use, if you are used to move PiP screens (these floats for a video call), it’s more or less the same experience, so on that side we are quiet while waiting to be able to use it.

The big G has everything ready already so that even when we drag it around we have the option of remove it or completely disable the feature and therefore it does not bother us in our daily life with our Android mobile.

Of course, in multitasking this floating google button It will be very useful, so we look forward to testing it in these parts of Europe, either through a server-side update or through the Google Play Store.
