Game news GTA The Trilogy Definitive Edition: an Easter egg from another rock star game that has already been spotted!
While waiting to offer a new numbered episode for their flagship franchise, Rockstar’s developers have struggled lately in offering players a brand new compilation of their past glories. As always, the mischievous rock star teams thought of putting a few references into this updated trilogy, and one of them didn’t last long before it was discovered.
This November 11th day was eagerly awaited by fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Rockstar had also planned its move by making its title available on a public holiday, especially since some of the players, namely the PlayStation, were lucky enough to be able to do so retrieve the title from the online shop at midnight before Sony reacts and commits itself to the global start time. But that’s it, 4 p.m. is largely over and some have already delved into this compilation to rediscover or just rediscover three of the franchise’s works: GTA III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas .
As usual, Rockstar likes to integrate a few allusions to its other productions. As an example, one could refer to John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption, on a figure’s T-shirt Grand Theft Auto 5. Still, it’s a tradition for the development studio and this brand new compilation is no exception to the rule if we are to believe a Reddit user’s discovery.
Red Dead Redemption II in painting in GTA: San Andreas
Hardly any compilation Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition found in the hands of the players to be analyzed from all angles in hopes of discovering a fun element that some are very fond of. Not to be missed since Reddit user Cooper_Raccoon posted a screenshot taken in the remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas!
Accordingly, the screenshot – which was taken during a sequence in which the hero Carl “CJ” Johnson wanders through the hallways of Ryder’s house – shows a painting or framed photo that closely resembles a landscape from Red Dead Redemption II. Without answering in the affirmative, the user sought the opinion of other Internet users in particular in order to determine the origin of this snapshot.
Among the suggestions made in response to this post on the social network, Another user mentions a strong resemblance to the Aurora Pool, where Red Dead Redemption II players can get their hands on legendary fish in particular. It’s hard to decide on the exact location, but it appears to be an indication of the studio’s latest production. It now remains to be seen how many Easter eggs of this type are scattered around the compilation and how many players can find them!
