To the delight of Bandai Namco, sticking the name of the manga Dragon Ball on a game is often enough to sell it like hot cakes. Coincidentally, today two very different episodes pass a milestone and not that of Super Sayajin.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ, which were released in 2016 and 2018 respectively, have just sold 8 million copies each in both physical and dematerialized versions. Everyone ? Yes everyone. Too happy to be able to communicate through this nice double Bandai Namco is obviously welcome
“You want a medal?”
As a thank you to its apprentice audience – Sayajin – the publisher presents two more campaigns today, starting with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2:
During the “Eight Million Thank You! No More PT Medals” campaign, the number of PT Medals obtained in the Raid Boss battle mode will be increased from 50 to 80. The new Raid against Jiren (Full Power), which has been available since November 4th, is also affected and offers you the opportunity to purchase new items.
From November 12th (2pm) to November 18th (12pm), the potential Z Warriors can hope to replenish medals, thereby confirming Bandai Namco’s strategy, which has shown endlessly renewed maintenance since its release in Fall 2016.
SSGSS DLC
Dragon Ball FighterZ will therefore not be outdone as it is announced the “800 Hours of Free DLC Campaign”, an opportunity to try out some of the additional characters
- Bardock, Broly, Zamasu and Bejitto (SSGSS) will be playable from November 12th (3 hours) to November 20th (2 hours).
- Son Goku, Bejita, Cooler and C-17 will be playable from November 20th (3 hours) to November 28th (2 hours).
- Jiren, Bidel, Goku (GT) Janemba, Gogeta (SSGSS) and Broly (Dragon Ball Super) will be playable from November 28th (3 hours to December 7th (2 hours)).
- Kefla, Son Goku (Ultra Instinct), Muten Roshi, Super Baby 2 and Gogeta (Super Sayajin 4) will be playable from December 7th (3 hours) to December 16 (3 hours).
This should therefore inspire lovers of extreme hair changes and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ calmly continue on their way. “Way to 10 million?“One would even like to ask.
