Sledgehammer Games has launched a new update Call of Duty: Vanguard On all platforms. The list of fixes is not particularly exciting, but the patch does solve some of the issues that players have encountered since its release.
The biggest fix in this week’s 1.05 update affects the battle shield, which previously could not protect the player’s back when stowed. This problem has now been solved, so if the shield covers it, you won’t be hit later.
Many fixes also affect unlocking and challenge issues, although not the terrible unlock tracking related to markings. On the one hand, the weapon challenge unlock requirement should now display an accurate value.
Operator challenges that sometimes reset after completion should no longer be done. Speaking of which, if you find that your operator progress has been reset when you start the game, please rest assured that this is just a visual error and will resolve itself after a game.
Constanze’s skin unlocking should now also proceed normally. Another clever fix in this update resolves the invisible operator error on the MVP screen at the end of the game.
All of these are related to multiplayer games, but there are also a lot of zombie fixes. In addition, there is a new playlist called Trifecta Moshpit, which rotates between Dome, Das Haus and Decoy.
Read all the fixes below.

- The data saved at the intermediate checkpoint has expired. Note: The player has not lost all the progress of the campaign. Saving and loading will take the player to the beginning of the latest level instead of their last checkpoint.
