It is not yet officially set in stone, but the signs are already growing quite clearly that the RPG hope The Elder Scrolls VI in the console sector will probably be reserved for Xbox gamers.
With the sinfully expensive takeover of Bethesda by Microsoft, the tide is apparently turning noticeably for PlayStation gamers. If the company has always been on the move with its blockbusters on Sony consoles up to now, this will probably not be the case in the future.
After Starfield Xbox will appear exclusively in the console area, the signs with regard to The Elder Scrolls VI are now increasing accordingly. Bethesda has not yet named the platforms for the game and has not yet ruled out the PlayStation, but a new statement from Xbox boss Phil Spencer suggests that the die has been cast long ago.
In an interview with GQ For Xbox’s 20th anniversary, Spencer was approached about The Elder Scrolls VI and said, “It’s not about punishing another platform. I really believe in principle that all platforms can continue to grow. But in terms of that Xbox wants us to be able to offer the full package that we have. And that’s true when I think of Elder Scrolls VI, and it would be true when I think of any of our other franchises. “
We’ll have to wait a long time before The Elder Scrolls VI appears. An official platform confirmation is therefore likely to be pending even longer, although the PC and Xbox Series X / S are certainly a hot tip. First, Bethesda will release the sci-fi RPG Starfield on November 11, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One.
