“Harry Potter” is back! The original stars around Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson will soon be gathering again at Hogwarts. More on Netzwelt.

It remains to be seen whether another “Harry Potter” film will actually see the light of day in the near future. What is certain, however, is that “Harry” Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint (his friend Ron Weasley) and “Hermione” Emma Watson are already will meet again at Hogwarts on January 1, 2022 – and for the first time since the end of the grandiose film series.
This is the date on which the US streaming service HBO Max starts “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts”, a one-time special that is filmed in the sets of the iconic “Harry Potter” films. Check out HBO Max’s announcement tweet here:
It is no coincidence that the exciting “Harry Potter” special is being announced today, of all days. Exactly on November 16, 2001 – and therefore exactly 20 years ago! – “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” started in US cinemas.
For the HBO Max special “Return to Hogwarts” – as mentioned at the beginning – the 3 original stars of the grandiose “Harry Potter” film series will now come together again, and indulge in memories in the original backdrops such as the Hogwarts Magic School.
The whole thing reminds a little of the big “Friends Reunion” from the summer of this year and also of the “The Prince of Bel Air” reunion. Both specials also appeared on HBO Max.

That should be a real feast for all fans of “Harry Potter”! The special “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” will be available for download on HBO Max at the stroke of midnight, at the turn of the year on January 1st, 2022!
