Who will be the protagonists?
Although players will only have control of the avatar that will lead the new Saints, at the heart of this new band is a group of four friends with high ambitions:
- Eli – After completing his master’s degree in business administration, Eli came to Santo Ileso in order to amass a fortune by becoming a pioneer. Little did he suspect that he would help build the greatest criminal empire the city has ever seen.
- Neenah – A skilled mechanic and driver with a great love for art. Despite studying art history and anthropology, he couldn’t get the job he wanted so badly in a museum. Without many options, Neenah was forced to work for Los Panteros. Fortunately, the Saints offer him the opportunity to work on his own terms.
- Kevin – A very social individual and willing to entertain people, which is why the DJ job fits him like a glove. However, he is also looking for new experiences and a place to belong. At the beginning of the game, he thinks he has found his home with the Idols. However, it doesn’t take long for him to discover that his real family is in the Saints.
- The Boss – A petty criminal who finally decides to stop working for other gangs and reach the top of the criminal world of Santo Ileso.
Who will be the villains in Saints Row (2022)?
The ‘reboot’ of Saints Row it will mark the return of the factions. At the beginning of the game, Santo Ileso will be under the control of three criminal gangs: The Panthers, the most native and traditional grouping of Santo Ileso; Marshall Defense Industries, a conglomerate of high-tech weapons; and The Idols, a group of anarchists motivated by claims of fame. Each of these will enjoy a unique visual identity and a specialty in combat.
How will the gameplay of Saints Row (2022)?
In terms of basic gameplay, Saints Row (2022) will be very similar to previous installments. Players will be able to freely explore Ileso Santo in all kinds of vehicles. These include bikes, planes, helicopters, VTOLs, hoverbikes, hoverboards, go-karts, and a wingsuit.
