The unexpected often happens: After a postponement into the coming year, the kung fu title Sifu, which is also planned for the PS5, will now appear a little earlier.
The handsome Kung Fu game Sifu was recently featured on the official PlayStation Blog. It was not only about the systems used in the course of the game, but also, somewhat surprisingly, the release date.
After the game had previously been postponed to February 22, 2022, the makers of Sloclap are now happily making a small roll backwards. Translated means: The date has now been moved a little forward! Result: Sifu should now be available two weeks earlier from February 8, 2022.
The developers have brought the release date of Sifu for PC, PS4 and PS5 forward to February 8, 2022.
Incidentally, two detailed entries dealt with two game systems. The first blog entry addresses this Combat system in Sifu. This builds on the martial arts gameplay from Absolver, but brings changes for the single player part. Overall, the fights are said to be heavily influenced by kung fu and martial arts films, especially since the players should get the feeling of being the main protagonists of a kung fu film.

The second blog entry, however, is dedicated to that Death and aging system in Sifu. The hero has been training in the game all his life, but is only 20 years old. Driven by an insatiable thirst for revenge, he is faced with a dangerous group of assassins who have made it to prominence in the city and are entrenched in well-guarded fortresses.
The young kung fu student does not have the luxury of a long future life to improve his knowledge. When he sets out at dusk to tread the path of vengeance, he must find and defeat all enemies in a single night. To do this, he relies on a powerful tool that helps him: an ancient pendant that can bring him back to life. However, this pendant must be charged with life energy. Every time the protagonist is resurrected, he continues to age. The use of the trailer and the time are therefore limited resources that need to be used carefully.
Sifu will be released on February 8, 2022 for PC, PS4 and PS5.
