Today, as you walk through the dining room of the luxurious restaurant of First Class Trouble, you might notice that something looks a little different. One of the tables now has a reservation card, a small change, but important and permanent.
When you think of First Class Trouble, you probably associate it with all the lies and stabbing it takes to win. Our slogan is “Where cocktails last longer than friendships”, after all. But frankly, we had always envisioned First Class Trouble as a game that would bring players from all over the world together and create a cool place for the community.
However, we had no idea that a romance was brewing aboard the Alithea.
We first met Adrianna and Henry when they announced their engagement with the First Class Trouble community on Discord. We were so touched by their story that we wasted no time in contacting them for more details.
“Our story began when we met in the lobby of First Class Trouble and we immediately hit it off, or at least we hit each other with bottles of champagne,” Adrianna said. “We were lucky enough to line up for the next three games. After finding out how good we were at finding Personoids and how great a team we were, we decided to swap details! “
From there it was a simple matter of pure chemistry.
“When I first messaged I immediately said he had a funny accent because he’s from the UK and I’m from the US. From that moment I was sold!
We’re pretty sure Henry isn’t really a personoid, but you can never be completely sure. Luckily for Adrianna, however, he hasn’t shown any real allegiance to CAIN… yet.
“We played First Class Trouble every day for three months, hanging out, talking and falling in love. It wasn’t long before I flew to the UK, and not even a week after I arrived, we happily got engaged! We will be getting married on November 21, 2021. The happiest we have ever been, all thanks to our meeting at First Class Trouble, so we want to thank the team for making such an amazing game that works so well to bring the people together. people !
After hearing this, the developers of Invisible Walls immediately began to think about ways to honor Adrianna and Henry’s story in the game.
“How can you not just feel happy as humans, developers, and artists, that something you’ve created can bring people together like that?” This must be celebrated, ”said Niels Wetteberg, CEO of developer Invisible Walls. “We wanted something that was available to the whole community, as well as something that was a ‘forever’ tribute. We had a few ideas, but it all seemed to lack the level of romance needed to complete something like this. So the Restaurant level table is now forever reserved for Adriana and Henry, and the wedding outfit we made is now available in a DLC pack for anyone who wants to celebrate love.
Responsibility for blending wedding fashion with the established period and theme of First Class Trouble lies with Andreas Bech, Art & Design at Invisible Walls.
“A lot of thought goes into every piece of content we make. Even though we have a lot of original outfits in the game, each piece still has to stay within the time frame, ”Andreas said. “For example, we tried to design most of our dresses and suits with a high waist, which was quite characteristic for clothing from this period.”
And who do you turn to for such specific inspiration?
“For the wedding dress and the tuxedo in particular, we took inspiration from a few particular vintage designs, but we wanted to add our personal touch,” Andreas said. “Therefore, we added a red flower to the tuxedo and embroidered the dress to give it a more formal wedding look. And of course, no wedding is complete without rings!
Adrianna and Henry’s story reminds us that video games are pretty awesome. They give us countless hours of gripping storytelling and satisfying gameplay mechanics to immerse us in, but they also have the power to bring people together in a way unlike any other form of media.
They can make meaningful, real-life friendships and in some cases even help us find our soul mates. And for everyone… well, that’s what the mute and block functions are for.
We are very happy to have met Adrianna and Henry, and delighted to honor their story in First Class Trouble. The Wedding Pack DLC is available now on PS4 and PS5 and contains:
- Black Suit (Jacket, Pants and Shoes)
- White dress
- Gold ring
So, don your classiest outfit and celebrate the union of two wonderful residents.
