Thymesia The Action-RPG Gets Delayed to 2022

Developer OverBorder Games has announced that the Action-RPG Thymesia, originally slated for December 2021 will now be releasing in 2022. The developer has also announced the title will be coming to more platforms which now include Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The tweet explains needing more time to add finishing touches, causing a delay in the launch. The delay may also have to do with the addition of platforms, now with three platforms with the same release date, PS5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam.

In case you missed it, Thymesia is a game about a mysterious character Corvus, who has the ability to seize enemy diseases and weaponise them against adversaries. Combat includes offensive abilities, parrying and dodging all at the right moments. Players can also customise Corvus, by upgrading and improving various stats to aid their journey, and to recover Corvus’ memories in the process.

Earlier this year publisher Team17 announced they would be partnering with developer OverBorder Studio.

Thymesia will release in 2022 on PC via Steam, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
