Apple’s CEO spoke in a recent interview about the future of the company and the next “big thing” they’re working on.
Macintosh, iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods … Apple’s history does not stand without all these great devices that have revolutionized various markets and created trends. However, the current “big Apple thing” might as well be the M1 processor. Apple must work on its next innovation te, and Tim Cook confirmed it in an interview.
Rich DeMuro from KTLA interviewed Apple CEO at the new Apple Store at The Grove in Los Angeles
“We are very focused on augmented reality, we are very focused on artificial intelligence … we are very focused on autonomy, we are very focused on all these things that are basic technologies and we will use them from various ways.
When Tim Cook was asked about Apple’s ‘Next Big Thing’, another iPhone or iPad, Apple CEO responded as follows
Of course … Apple is still working on something that is “the next big thing”. And luckily we have a lot of things that are the big things right now
In addition to this, the CEO of Apple also commented on Apple’s recent decision to offer official parts and repair manuals to iPhone users so that they can repair their devices themselves:
Well, we found out that there were people who wanted to do this and who had been trained to do it. It feels good to publish the manuals and remove the things that allow people to do it. Still, if you don’t feel comfortable doing it, we encourage you to come to the Apple Store so we can do it for you. It is still the best way for most people.
We don’t know for sure what Apple’s next big device will be, although according to Cook’s statements, it is probably Apple glass. A device that we have heard many leaks, and which could arrive in 2022. It fits perfectly with this focus on augmented reality of the company.
