Exclusively available to play in Dreams, Ancient Dangers: A Bat’s Tale is a third-person dungeon robot created by Media Molecule and designed to test the skills of the bravest adventurers. Whether you’re looking for fierce combat against weird and silly enemies, puzzles to tickle your brain cells, or a showdown against a huge-toothed dragon (and an even bigger ego), Ancient Dangers: A Bat’s Tale has you covered.

Fight solo as the heroic orc Scoria in single player mode – or bring a friend to play as Scoria’s twin, Gabbro, in local co-op (local co-op play still requires an internet connection). Challenge yourself to dominate the scoreboards by taking on enemies and activating your Berserk chain to maximize those sweet and sweet points.

Will Scoria and Gabbro find the weed they need to cure their grandmother’s terrible snoring? Will their wise bat friend be able to return home? And is there a reasonable explanation for how a dragon learned the noble art of floristry? All these questions and more may be answered inside.

For the uninitiated: DreamShaping is the name of the Dreams creation mode. Since the launch of Dreams, we’ve found that DreamShaping can be overwhelming for new players. With our new template system and a revamped DreamShaping user interface, we hope this huge update helps you make games in Dreams faster, easier, and more fun than ever before.
The new version of DreamShaping includes handy game models and all-new elements to create a 2D platformer, dungeon robot, side-scrolling shoot-’em-up, mini-golf and much more, including including a dedicated template for Ancient Dangers: A Bat’s Tale, which includes a huge kit for your creative delight.
Goals and pointers throughout the models guide you and explain the process, helping development to be more like a game in itself! And if you feel stuck at any point, then indreams.me is here to help – just go to our Models section to find any additional information or assistance you may need.
We’ve also made a few changes to the DreamShaping user interface to help you find exactly what you’re looking for – and faster.

On the new Start Creation screen, you will be able to access the presentation page for each model. We have listed the difficulty of each model (and in some cases parts of each model) for different levels of experience. Beginner models let you get started with creating by just letting you dab elements, medium difficulty models introduce the idea of connecting the elements together, and more advanced models cover techniques such as optimizing your game.
You’ll also find new sections to promote quality elements to use in your designs, top-tier and award-winning Dreams creators to follow and community events, as well as a series of new help pages that link to support. online via QR codes.

Plus, the type of content you see on your DreamShaping in-game page will now be right for you, depending on how much time you’ve spent creating in Dreams! If you are a new player, you will see items that will help you get started with the basics. If you’re a little more experienced, you’ll receive our curated recommendations for some of the best building blocks the community has to offer.
