The western release of Demon Gaze EXTRA has now been delayed to January 2022.

Demon Gaze Extra was expected to release for the North America and Europe this December 9th, however it has now been announced by Clouded Leopard Entertainment to be delayed for both PS4 and Switch to January 6th 2022. There were no details as to the reason for the delay.

Demon Gaze the original title was got its first English localised release for PS Vita back in 2014 by NIS America and developer Experience. The dungeon crawler title featured unique gameplay characteristics such as recruiting mechanoid Demons.

Demon Gaze Extra gains enhanced graphics, a streamlined autopilot mode, all-new Machina job category and more.

Demon Gaze EXTRA will add enhanced graphics and new elements to bring a new experience to both veteran and newer players. Exploring the region of Misrid, players will uncover unique labyrinths not only above ground, but underground and even underwater.

You can also obtain unique items after clearing the story and through subsequent playthroughs, plus use the new item synthesis feature to customise legendary equipment. Those new to RPGs can enjoy the enhanced autopilot function which has now been streamlined. There’s also an all-new job category called Machina that unlocks mid-game.

Demon Gaze EXTRA will now release on PS4 and Switch on January 6th 2022.
