We reviewed the Jabra Elite 3 True Wireless headphones, with a value for money hard to beat in its category, combining good sound with performance and build quality typical of higher ranges.
The options available in the midrange of true wireless headsets are endless, but while some brands are just trying to succeed with fireworks that do nothing more in practice, Jabra is doing it with a model that without specifications, try to appear what. they are not, understands everything that can be expected from a helmet of this type, with materials and finishes of superior ranges and a revolutionary price.

Design
The Jabra Elite 3 have a very similar design to the rest of the brand’s headphones. Its charging case is very small, possibly the smallest of all the headphones I’ve tried, which makes it very comfortable to wear as pants, even the tightest jeans that you have. The size of the headphones is the usual size for this guy, with an in-ear design that is inserted into your ear canal, something that may at first generate a weird feeling if you’re not used to it, but soon cease to be. be noticeable. Silicone plugs insulate you from the outdoors, passive noise cancellation that lets you enjoy sound in loud environments without isolating yourself from the outdoors, perfect for walking down the street or playing sports. There is no active noise cancellation.
The quality of the materials of the case is good, the same as used by their highest quality headphones like the Elite 85T which we also tested and which you can read the analysis and see this link. It is highly appreciated that despite being much cheaper headphones, the materials and design are virtually identical to the more expensive ones.. The headset controls consist of two physical buttons located on both of them, which are very simple to press and in my opinion much more convenient for playing sports. Pressing does not insert the headset into your ear, so it’s not annoying.
In addition to the lilac color which you can see in the photos and video of this item, can be purchased at beige, blue and dark gray color for the same price.
Drums
They have a truly exceptional battery life, with 7 hours of playtime after a full charge, which is extended to 28 hours of playtime thanks to the charging case. The case does not have wireless charging, but rather a USB-C connector on the back With which it can be recharged more or less once a week if you make intensive use of the headset. In the rare event that you run out of battery and need to keep using them, with just 10 minutes of recharging, you’ll have up to 1 hour of use.
Functioning
Helmet Automatically turns on when removed from the charging case, and they automatically turn off when you enter them again. They also have an automatic shut-off system if you leave them out of the box unused. The buttons are used to control playback, take calls, use the virtual assistant, and even control volume. The functions of the right earpiece are different from those of the left and consist of one, two or three presses, as well as keeping the button pressed. You cannot customize the controls from the app.
The Jabra Sound + app can be downloaded for free for iOS (link) and Android (link), and with it we can update the firmware and control different sound modes. The EQ options are not as comprehensive as those of other higher models, but they are they allow us to modify the sound they offer us a little as we wish. It also tells us how much battery is left and we can locate the headphones which will save the last location they were connected to your iPhone.
The connection with the iPhone is very stable, with a range of up to 10 meters which can be somewhat reduced indoors with obstacles. In practice they have the usual range of this type of helmets. I haven’t had any problems disconnecting for no apparent reason, interference, or noise. I only noticed a few problems passing the roll bars at the entrance to stores, which is quite common with any Bluetooth headset. They do not have automatic device switching, although they can be connected to multiple devices (up to 6) that are stored in memory, but you will have to manually switch between them. By default, they will always connect to the last one you connected to.
Ring
They have a pretty good sound quality considering that we are talking about low end headphones. They can’t compete with the sound of some AirPods Pro or the Jabra Elite 85T, but they work just fine. Acceptable bass, balanced mids and highs and a sound in which you can perceive a lot of detail, this is not a sound that will “blow your mind” but it will leave you very satisfied if you are looking for a “good” headphone without more. to pretend. .
What I miss the most about the 85T that I use every day is the ability to change the EQ for a more personalized sound. But we still have to repeat the same thing: we are dealing with helmets for less than 100 $. Passive noise cancellation helps improve perceived quality, they are quite suitable for use in noisy environments such as gymnasiums. For this, it is important that you find the right silicone plugs for your ear canal. Volume will not be a problem in any way.
Editorial review
The Jabra Elite 3 is the perfect headset for those looking for something affordable but without sacrificing good sound quality, excellent battery life and a build quality typical of the upper segments. They don’t have active noise cancellation or wireless charging, but that’s something that can’t be blamed on headphones in this price range. For less than 80 $ these headphones They will leave more than satisfied those who do not want to spend more but are not satisfied with little.. You can buy them on Amazon for $ 79.99 (connect)
