Despite having been in the market for more than eight years, the mmo Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) is more popular than ever and there is no better example than the waiting lines that its players have had to suffer to access Endwalker, the most recent expansion, since last Saturday, December 4, 2021.
But there is something more concerning. This issue, which had players waiting for hours to join the game or not being able to join, occurred only with those who pre-purchased the expansion. What’s going to happen on Tuesday, December 7, when it officially launches?
Square Enix assured that it is working to solve the problems of congestion of servers of Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) that are causing the queues.
Naoki ‘Yoshi P’ Yoshida, the popular producer of the game, apologized to the players by an official statement. To make up for it, he promised that all players who have a complete copy of Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV): Endwalker and an active subscription will be able to enjoy seven days of free game time starting Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
This free time will apply even for those who use the free subscription time that comes with the purchase of the expansion. He also said that, depending on the situation, the free time of Endwalker could be expanded.
What are the worst congestion hours and waiting lines in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV): Endwalker?
According to information shared by Yoshida, the worst congestion hours in the game are between 3:00 pm and 1:00 am (Colombia time).
